I couldn't imagine not having them.
Bought immediately after buying a new truck. After driving 4500 miles I couldn't imagine not having these things in place. I can't tell you how many times I've been able to quickly pull out, clean, and reinsert a dirty/wet rubber pad. Without them I really would have had to crawl into the cracks or try harder to clean. Pay attention to the bag. It has a sticker with a link to see where the parts go. As a guy, I quickly threw the bag away and spent 10 minutes doing Fit? to play. While it was fun, I'd recommend using the instructions.
