Ideal for bike owners who need to change or adjust cables from time to time and don't want or need a large pack of around 500 pieces. Regular users or shop owners would be better off ordering durable items in bulk. Jagwire products are quality down to the last detail, including the ferrules. I was tired that they might not fit "standard" cables (Jagwire cables are smaller in diameter than regular cables), but yes they do, even if the cable is slightly worn and can still be straightened . Note: No special crimping tool is required; an electrician's crimping tool (for plugs and terminals) is also suitable. Use the tool with the smallest diameter and you'll be fine :-)
