I have very short hair (5 to 10 cm). I mixed them with blonde and tinted them all together to make them as white as possible. I had to wash them before installing and the tape on them got completely wet. In total I had 240 pieces 16 to 20 inches long. Half ombre and bleached blonde. I had it installed by a professional and the first day it had my hair covered with ribbons but I didn't like the haircut. I also had a headache from the weight of my hair. The first installation and cutting took about 5 hours. After 2 days she cut off about 8 inches and installed all the extensions to the top (2 more hours). I bought a topper to hide the ribbons. I've never had problems with color matching. I washed 3 times in 6 days and unfortunately I just didn't like the long hair on me. Took forever to dry, added 5 minutes to style in the morning, and it just doesn't suit my lifestyle. I look better with short hair and have decided to remove all extensions after 6 days. Getting expansions that speak for the band was a nightmare! This band doesn't budge. My stylist tried 5 different tape removers and none helped. She even tried butter, but to no avail. I almost told her to cut the ligaments because it was very painful not only for me but also for her. She thought her nail would fall off. It took her almost 4 hours to free me! She kept praising the tape and was keen to know what type of glue is used on the tapes. She said that she had never encountered such a strong fixation. Overall I would highly recommend this extension as the hair is soft and a pleasure to work with and the bands are obviously some of the most durable on the market. I ordered straight hair but after washing it becomes a wavy texture. I dried it with a hair dryer, I used an iron and it held up beautifully. These extensions are really good!
