If you are willing to spend money then this is an excellent product. First off, this is a 'genuine' product made by a proper design and quality control company, and not just another cheap stamped iPad accessory. It's also part of an existing and increasingly improved product line that has had time to evolve and improve. Unlike many of Revain's $15 iPad and laptop cases, the Zugu doesn't come in a plastic case, the paint won't rub off your fingers, and the resulting case matches the product description, photos, and advertisements in every respect. . If you like what you see, you can be confident in what you're actually getting. I returned two others before settling on this one. I use my iPad as a workstation for music production/performance, video/photo editing, and graphic design. It needs to be well protected, it needs to look good and I need to be able to use it in a snap without having to remove/replace the case. My absolute purchase requirements were: 1) A folio or book style look with no folding panels; 2) External embellishments/features (stands, pockets, straps, pen holders, color stitching) should be unobtrusive; 3) No internal plastic shell or Apple Pen slot; 4) Exterior painting with leather or high-quality imitation leather; 5) Microfiber lining; 6) Rubberized or rubberized inner shell covering all four sides and having properly aligned cutouts for USB/TB port, speakers, etc.; 7) No visible trademarks or logos; 8) OtterBox-level professional protection and durability without the volume. When looking at the Zugu, the only thing that bothered me was the external pen/stylus slot on the right side, but its protrusion is minimal and the case looks great with or without the Apple Pen. The Zugu nails it all, and the build quality and ergonomics really exceeded my expectations, even at this price point. An absolute winner that will likely outlive the device itself.
