I had a chip and small crack (about 1/2 inch) right in my line of sight above the steering wheel. Annoying dark spot…. I bought this and am happy with the results. I would say at least 90% improvement. I read the instructions twice and got to work. I applied it in shade according to directions to deflate, added more resin and pressed again. I waited a few more minutes, removed the device, added some more resin and glued a polymerizing strip on top. I drove the car in the sun. I waited for it to dry, then removed the strip and cut off the dried resin with a razor blade. Noticed a few more holes. More resin applied and a new strip. Waited for it to dry again. Resin again with a razor blade. In general, it filled the hole and a small crack, and it's almost imperceptible. Something I can live with (right in my line of sight). Better than a hundred euros for a new windscreen or even a hundred euros for a professional repair. I did not expect a 100% discreet repair. I am happy with the end result. A very small hairline and that's it. Maybe I didn't follow the procedure closely enough. Great progress. I decided to give it a try before spending a lot of money. All chips and cracks are different and may or may not be as successful. Not sure how to fix a longer crack with a successful result. For the price, it's worth a try before spending big bucks.
