I chose Soulmates over less expensive versions of this type of product because they are shaped like the heels on my shoes (kind of a semi-circle shape). Other products I saw were just round. I also liked the idea that these are more of a rubbery material, verses a hard plastic. Of course, they're removeable so I can use them with other shoes in the future. Like many other purchasers, I got them for an outdoor wedding (which hasn't taken place yet). I did, however, "practice" in my yard and on the gravel driveway, and I can feel the added stability and I love the fact that the heels don't sink into the grass and get stuck or dirty!
