They were identical to the seat I bought a few years ago which is still in use although it is starting to look a bit rough. I bought these for use in the framed (tarpaulin) kayaks I've built and they work very well. Butt is numb. Four adjustable straps with brass dog leash clips secure the seats to the boat. The adjustment is enough to use it on sit or sit kayaks. After adjustment I recommend tying the ends of the straps as they can slip off when wet or after a long row. These seats came with a small bag attached to the backrest. (Due to the wood pad I can't use backpacks with SOF boats, but will "borrow" one for my plastic seat upstairs.) The seats are good value, sturdy and attractive enough, and also comfortable enough for 4 people. or more hours in the cabin.
