Something fishy. Update: Everything is fine

Update: Contacted CTS Warehouse immediately and fixed the issue. It took me a few days to receive them but they sent another Mac mini and all seems fine with the world. Mini works as expected! Original Message: I received my Mac Mini very well, but something is wrong. The first clue was the included power cord. It wasn't Apple. I went ahead and turned it on and set it up and right at the gate it falls back. literally every task pauses and gives me a turntable for at least 2-5 seconds. For some tasks, the turntable rotates longer. And I'm not one of those people who overuses the word "literally" and thinks that maybe an update will fix it. There is no such happiness. I went through the update but it still hangs. The USB ports don't appear to be USB 3.0 either. At least not in terms of performance. Transferring 32GB of data to a USB 3.0 external hard drive took over an hour. To give some context, I bought this to upgrade my 2010 Mac Mini. I thought it would be slow but once it's plugged in I'll most likely be returning it and going back to my 2010. Transferring this data takes less than half the time with my 2010 Mac Mini, it doesn't have USB 3.0 ports. I would have only upgraded the memory in my 2010 but wanted faster data transfer. If it doesn't give me faster data transfers and makes me tap my foot when I just want to open "Bluetooth" or "Desktop & Screensavers" in System Preferences, there's no point in keeping it. Trying to connect to Wi-Fi also proved problematic. bottom line. Performance is not up to par.
