I've seen LOTS of "wood" contact paper that doesn't look like wood, so my expectations were low when I ordered this paper. I bought this as an inexpensive way to see what a meat block would look like in our kitchen before buying new countertops. Contact paper looks great! The light wood structure makes it look like a real cutting board and visitors really thought we changed our tabletop. It wasn't difficult to put on, just make sure you move slowly and use something to smooth it down along the way (I used a car scraper). If you plan on using this as a permanent coating, I think the hardest part is finishing the corners (as it requires a precise cut to keep it looking even). It has been in the kitchen for 2 months and looks like new.
