Good for a gift on my review.

I got one for my sister for her birthday and she absolutely loves it! She is raving about it so much I bought one for my son for Christmas! I'm sure he will love it as well.

It's heavy and very warm and a large size

Might not fit comfortably in certain bed sizes

This blanket is the exact size of the top of your mattress, if even that. Mind is 62x78 (queen size mattress is 60x80). If laid flat barely covers the top of the mattress, with NO hangover. I don''t know that it will be an issue for me, as i use another comforter on top, but if your looking for a blanket (topper/comforter) that will hang over the edge and be presentable, this is not it. You WILL need a comforter to be over it, if your a person that makes their bed.TLDR; not a top level bedspread
