I'm all for solar power, but have always been weary because of the battery life. Eventually the batteries will get to a point where they will no longer hold a charge and that's always been my contention with Solar powered products. But because of the fact that I'm not an electrician and I don't feel like hiring one just to add a light to one side of my house, this was the best option.For now, while the batteries are still new(ish) this is perfect for what and where I need it for. The installation was one of the easiest I've encountered in general. The removable back plate makes it easier to pop the light off and replace the batteries if/when they need to be replaced. The solar panel's cord is long enough to allow you to place it in an ideal location. The main light tilts and has the 2 side lights attached to it with their own range of positioning as well. Finally, the brightness of this is really great and not what I expected.The only con would be the installation for the solar panel. It's not hard, but it would be easier if the panel it self can be removed to make accessing the mounting holes easier to screw in the hardware. Not bad, but inconvenient when using a power screw driver.
