The largest hook (25 mm) fits perfectly with JoAnn's Bernat Blanket Extra. It's very easy to hold, grab the yarn and there are no rough edges to grab onto. The hook will hold the yarn securely as you pull, but not so much that it's difficult to remove from the hook. The hooks are shorter than the plastic Boye Jumbo hooks, but that's not a problem for me. I'm glad I bought these hooks instead of the wood and bamboo hooks I was considering because I generally prefer smooth-working metal or plastic hooks and pins. Didn't really need the extras that came with it, but the case is handy for storing everything and the scissors seem to work well, although not as high quality as Fiskers or other big brands.
