This review is for the newer updated Camera Kit 50-1. You buy from the official GoPro store, sometimes it costs more than what you pay for that 50 piece set and in the end they are just molded in plastic so no high tech is required to make them so I'm happy with them Non-brands, like this one, I don't have the old 50 in 1 set so I don't know if the 'updated' parts are better or worse than the old ones, in this set Junk vs Good as follows: Junk: - Mini -Tripod with red rings. It's junk, looks like it's going to break, if I just move it around I'll put it in the trash. - The glass suction cup doesn't look that great, so if I ever use it I'll be shooting in a car or somewhere where if that suction cup fails it won't ruin the camera. In a case that has everything, the foam insert inside is junk, the case itself isn't bad, if you buy a good piece of foam and cut it to fit your needs it's a good moving case as it's bigger than the official gopro and can hold the camera and a few accessories. Good things: - The chest, head and wrist mounts are well made and look almost exactly like official GoPro products. If I just buy these 3 mounts I'm happy with my price. - The selfie stick is hard. and I will be happy to record with it in the folded position and be able to record myself multiple times if needed. Selfie sticks aren't made for heavy movement anyway, so this one's good for what it is. - The bike handlebar mount is really good and I would like to install it on my bike. - The floating yellow grip is very nice when you drive a boat and throw it in the water, it's easy to see, the official Gopro floating grip I received with my camera is black with a 1 inch orange piece on it up and will be much harder to see in the water, this one is very good. There is a part that fits on a regular camera tripod. It's really nice to just mount the camera on it and take pictures without moving, for example when you're recording a video for YouTube, that's really nice. The rest of the helmet mounts and screws are really good and I'm happy with the quality, no need to pay 20 or 30 just for screws and adhesive pads. NOTE: The mount pieces that lead to the camera do not have the gray rubber insert that the official gopros have. This rubber is to ensure that the mount does not accidentally open after you have attached the camera to the helmet for example. The camera does not come off after I tested this mount without the rubber part and as these parts are for both the official part and for these are tough, i tested one and think the only way to detach the camera would be if the part breaks, it seems as strong as the official part so i'm not worried, i have a picture of the official gopr o mount and attached part of this kit for reference, i have 2 official parts with my camera and i can use them in extreme situations if i want.
