I have two cars, a 2011 Silverado and a 2018 Lexus LC. I control both with additional sensors on my phone powered by an OBD device - ScanTool LX. The OBD port on the truck is on the front edge of the dash and is horizontal so I can see the device and LEDs when plugged in. On a Lexus, the OBD connector is tucked deep on the very edge of the dashboard and faces down so the OBD device is not visible. I bought this extension cord and some velcro and installed the OBD device under the dash where I can see it. The cable works well and extends the signal and now I can see the LEDs on the unit.
