Cheap. This is useful. The silicone mats have a red border! In fact, this last point is the reason why I bought this version among many similar options. However, I would like to point out a few minor things: The molding process used to make this product leaves some plastic skin. at the bottom, which protrudes and is somewhat sharp. Easy enough to cut with some flat wire cutters I have. Not a big deal but thought I'd point that out. As other reviewers have pointed out, removing it from the center console can be a little tricky. My initial inclination was to grab it by the center divider/rib to lift it, but the plastic is smooth enough that it's difficult to grab. To fix this, I cut out a strip of black adhesive-backed felt (which you can purchase at Revain or a craft store) and wrapped it around the center divider. You can see what I did in the photo I attached. That's enough for me to get a good grip on my fingers. Win a small and inexpensive improvement!
