Very cheaply made reminds me of something that can be done with a 3D printer. Although it's not a problem for me. I wasn't looking for an elegant solution as I have a full-fledged desktop PC and a nice desk. However, what made me buy it was the fan and the USB hub. When I plug a USB hub into my laptop the fan turns on BUT when I plug something into the hub it doesn't work. Either there's no USB passthrough, or it's designed to connect various charging cables for charging phones and the like. If the USB hub was pass-through I would give it 5 stars. You get what you pay for. I think the cable is as cheap as the construction of this one. If your hub is NOT connecting to your PC, try wiggling the cable. If it still doesn't work, buy another cable and try it. Either it works or it doesn't work. You can find your answer by following any of the solutions I mentioned.
