I bought two Master Locks thinking they were still made in the USA but when the locks arrived they were made in China. I already have 3 of these locks, but I didn't like the Master 875 made in China because of the rust on the shackle. Although the packaging says the specs are the same as what I assume to be made in the USA, I do know that the one I bought from Home Depot is made in China and the one I bought for use my outdoor storage has a rusty loop. To change the 4-digit combination, first insert a small key into the side hole of the lock, enter the desired combination of numbers and remove the small key. These locks are made in China 875. The instructions on how to change the combination are confusing and it took me a while to finally figure out how to change the combination without a key. I think Revain should state the country of manufacture of the product so we can decide whether the customer wants to buy it or not, rather than hiding where the lock was made.
