
Don't expect anything from support. I had a V2 router and my 2.4GHz band wasn't working properly. I was sent a replacement V1 and was told I didn't need the V2 and it doesn't matter although the feature set and firmware are different. The last TP-Link product I will ever buy. I feel cheated. The TP-Link site also said that the price is the same for V1 and V2. They really aren't the same at all. I've never had such a bad experience where an agent just tells me to take care of it more or less and then hangs up the call with no response. Updated: March 16: TP Link US called me personally to apologize within hours of posting my complaint. and assured me that no customer should be treated that way. I spoke to Carl who did the right thing. They sent me a brand new sealed V2 router with UPS NextDay delivery. The replacement fixed all of my wifi issues I had previously. I got a UPS return label for the V1 and the original bad V2 and was able to ship it in a box which made my life a little easier. Carl gave me his email address if I ever have any questions in the future. I really appreciate that they fixed this and it really shows that they really care about the customers. I just had a rep who may not have reflected on the TP values that day, but of course I can rest assured that I will buy TP-Link products without hesitation. Router works great, easy setup, updated firmware shows improvements since release. Very happy with the product.
