This is my first purchase of a Wurkkos flashlight and I am very impressed. Outstanding build quality! I really like the magnetic rotary switch, very simple for the average user. It appears to be totally waterproof, I tested it by submerging it in a bucket of water for about 5 minutes and it worked fine. I don't think I'll ever use it for "diving" but it's nice to know that if it gets wet or falls in the water you don't have to worry. Since it is a single element 21700 flashlight, it is quite small. The lower part is completely flat and can be worn at the rear at will (without a large lanyard). Speaking of straps, this is a nice, big, heavy-duty cable that's obviously made for diving. Comes with a good 5000mAh 21700 battery. I measured it when it arrived and it was at 3.5v. I've had batteries from other sellers that were dead. Now for performance. Maximum brightness definitely makes quite a bit of light. I measured them on my homemade lightbox and got around 4600-4700 actual lumens. NOT BAD. Not to mention that this light has 90 CRI which is really good for color rendering. It's very difficult to get a bright light with a high CRI and this light does just that. and honey in a minute or two. Also 60C is quite hot but underwater this is not a problem. The body of the flashlight heats up so quickly, which also means GOOD heat transfer that can only be achieved with thermal paste. The 5000mAh battery has been tested very well on the hobby charger. (4980mah) As you can see from the pictures, there is quite a lot of flooding. At night, the DL30 lights up everything in front of it, but doesn't have as intense a hotspot. So if you like floods, you will love the DL30. I wish this flashlight had USB-C, but of course that would affect the water resistance of this flashlight, so an external charger is an alternative. At least it uses Micro-USB. However, it charges fairly slowly, taking around 6 hours to charge the included battery from 0%, so it's more of an overnight charger. Can't complain as you don't have to charge it much. Pros: - Superb build quality - Waterproof - Long runtime - Brightness (around 4600-4700 lumens at max on a fully charged battery) - Understated performance (at least for me) - Comes with a quality 21700 battery! - Very easy to use, just twist. - Excellent light output (Samsung 5000K 90CRI LEDs) - Thermoregulation to protect the light - Comes with a strong strap - Comes with a 18650 adapter (I have a lot of these but make sure to use "high-drain" "INR / IMR" 18650 (at least 15a) if you want to use high ones!) - Very good heat transfer to the lamp body. (good for LED cooling and lifespan) - Comes with extra O-rings. - Can stand on tail without laces. side unless you intend to use it for diving. I prefer the orange peel reflector for a "softer" beam and this one has a smooth reflector. In general, these shortcomings are very minor.
