Firstly I agree with those who say it's easy to open the box and install this rack quickly. Read the instructions, take your time the first time, and everything will go well and quickly. I'd say it took me about 20 minutes the first time, including studying the instructions carefully. Next time I do this I can't imagine it will take more than 5 minutes and most of the time I'll be tightening my belt. Not great now - today was the first time I tried using the rack to take my son on a bike ride, put the rack on top of the car and put his bike in first place - great. I then tried to put my ladies bike on but to no avail. I've seen some photos of other reviews showing women's bikes but for some reason it didn't work no matter how hard I tried to maneuver there. When I gave it up I was hot and tired - and very irritable. Sorry son I didn't ride the bike today :( I saw that there is a small section in the instructions that mentions the optional purchase of a stabilizer bar for women's bikes - great but to be honest this leaf is INSIDE the box Would be nice to know when I bought the rack.. I feel like it's terrible customer service, know it's a problem and don't point it out until I've bought the wait on this pole so I can take my son. Please update your descriptions to be honest - if you want to use this women style bike rack you must buy this item. Better yet update the price for extra money and switch just a the bar. Otherwise call it a 3 bike rack for men.
