They're great on my wood and tile floors (whole house, over 3600 sq ft) Pet hair, human hair and other contaminants cling to the fibers .Even after washing I only give four stars - all the pills are microfiber (the white looped part, not the blue one) and then after each wash it's more and more difficult to poke around, I think I'll only do the blue ones without from now on the white loops stay because they wash out really well and soak through just as well (if you spray the floors a bit).
