I had an awful buzz from the background noise generated by my PC. I used the audio connector on the front of the case. I bought a headphone extender to use the connector on the back of the motherboard. Switching to the rear port fixed everything. It's worth it. Very high quality cable. Saved me a ton of money from not having to switch headphones; I was almost ready to buy a new wireless kit, but the new cables fixed all the issues.
