Does not support stereo channels. When I bypassed the cables everything went back to normal. Based on what they said about it being high quality components I feel like I was totally fooled. Are the cords strong? Yes, it's a braided cable so they're durable, but what's the point if you can't even hear the audio in full stereo? The left channel sounds tinny, distant and reverberant. I'm sending this garbage back.

4th update. The reason stereo doesn't work is because it's TRRS. If you want a standard headphone extension, you will need a TRS cable. The phone uses trrs and the registration headset uses trs. I had an awful buzz from the background noise generated by my PC. I used the audio connector on the front of the case. I bought a headphone extender to use the connector on the back of the motherboard. Switching to the rear port fixed everything. It's worth it. Very high quality cable. Saved me a ton of money from not having to switch headphones; I was almost ready to buy a new wireless kit, but the new cables fixed all the issues.

I've had so many extension cords that they let me down. Oldboytech is great and solves my problems. I have an old MacPro and am concerned that damaging the onboard 3.5mm jacks will cause the motherboard to fail. So I've now added Oldboytech to all front and rear audio panels.
