Review on 🚿 Moen Gibson Posi-Temp Shower Only Trim with Eco-Performance, Valve Required (Matte Black) – Improved SEO by Marlo Schlachter

Ordered this shower head/handle/handle as the final part of a complete master bathroom makeover after a shower screen connection watering can/hood leaking. The previous shower arm and shower head were also a Moen product. This one looks great but after about 2 months it started to leak - at the thread where the shower head connects to the cuff. The contractor's plumber said the problem was most likely the shower head. So Moen replaced it with a new model (the same one) as a warranty replacement and I installed it with teflon tape but even the new one has the same tiny leak on the threads. I don't want to tighten it more than I did because I don't want to compromise the shower head lever seal in the hinged ear and cause another leak in the wall. So, I'm not sure what to do now. Very frustrating. We don't have high water pressure but I would like the shower to be leak free for the first time in a long time. The rest of the shower is great.
