Review on Wilson Electronics Lightning Surge Protector for 75 Ohm F-Female Connections by David Shah

Missing parts in power strips and surge protectors

This device requires a short cable or an adapter to connect to the antenna. Wilson sent me one for free but I suggest the cable or gender changer come with a surge protector as I had to delay installing it. The guard must also be attached to 10 gauge copper wire. Bare 10G copper wire is not very available to homeowners at local stores as the only wire I could find was stranded 10G wire coated in green plastic. The protector has the option to replace the inside, but this does not relate to the part number on the installation sheet. The part must be replaced if destroyed by lightning. It would be helpful to know the replacement part at the time of purchase so that the replacement part can be ordered at the time of purchase.
