My key fob case was cracked and taped over. I wanted to get a new key fob and figured I would have to get a brand new key fob and either go to the dealer or have a locksmith program it into my car. When I received the key fobs, I found that they were only covers and not electrical devices. which turned out to be perfect. All I had to do was take my old (working) circuit out of the damaged case and put it in the new one! Now it looks like I have a brand new key fob that works great and doesn't cost $150 from a dealer new one that was made with a lot fewer problems. The best thing is that it came with 2 sets. So if this one breaks, I have a spare.
