I was a bit skeptical about this beep because previous auto parts store purchases sounded like a kazoo. I wanted to install it behind the front bumper of my truck and had to modify the wiring harness because it was too short. After careful installation, everything worked as it should. You will need a 1/4" bit for the open bolts and a 5/16" bit for the compressor bolts. Very happy with the purchase
