This rug falls into the 'you get what you pay for' category. At only $50 this seemed like a really good deal for a pretty living room rug. But we have two small dogs and a cat. And a child. In other words, I need to be able to vacuum the living room carpet. But I can't vacuum this carpet. In some places the threads broke out, and as you can see in the photo, the fabric broke out in several places. I only vacuumed it once or twice with regular living room traffic before this all started. So within a month this carpet started falling apart. Not only that, some "fabrics" actually look like pieces of plastic bags! Yes, the carpet is cheap, but it's also cheap. Not worth it in my opinion unless you are willing and able to take the rug outside to shake it every week. Two stars because the colors and look of the new carpet were cute. But it doesn't last long with normal living room clothes.
