Even better than the advent calendar for 2019!

While most people have written glowing reviews for the 2019 Advent Calendar, I have posted a critical one, highlighting how much it matches the items in the Great Hall set. Given that the 2020 Advent Calendar is the same as the Clocktower/Yule Ball set, you'd think I'd be upset about that, but I'm not. I'm really looking forward to the new advent calendar. And therefore. If you don't have the Clocktower Pack, this is a cheap way to get the Yule Ball highlights. But even if you have the clock tower like me, there are still plenty of reasons to have this advent calendar. That's three new characters for a start - I'm really excited about the Lego versions of the Patil twins and it's nice to see Zhou in her Christmas dress. While we also get reruns of three Clock Tower characters, two of them are so adorable - Hermione in her dress and Ron - his hilarious sidekick - I'm excited for the extra ones. As for Harry's duplicate, I'm swapping his head to turn him into Roger Davis - Fleur's Yule Date. With that, all members of the Three Wizards are done in their Christmas robes and with their dates. I am also looking forward to other parts of the new advent calendar. The wrapped broom and Christmas invitation look great. And most of the other items don't seem superfluous in the Clocktower set either. Instead I think they will be a welcome addition to this set. Despite my initial concerns about the 2019 advent calendar, my daughter and I ended up having a blast opening it. Now we are even more excited for the 2020 version.
