Review on πŸ” Nightfox 110R: Advanced Widescreen Night Vision Binocular with Infrared, Extended Range, and Recording Feature by Everette Jean

This is an amazing unit

I had doubts about the cost so watched a few videos and settled on the 110R. I'm amazed at the image quality and the distance I can get with this device. I've had several NV units over the years and for the money this is a winner. I can clearly see blades of grass at a distance of 25 meters. The field of view is limited, but the clarity more than makes up for the limitations of the FOV. I can see the rubber face cup doesn't really fit the mainstream face, a very odd shape and quite uncomfortable when you try to push your face into it. I've found that I can hold the device three to four inches away from my face and get great results. The ability to mount the unit to a professional mount is ideal and I will use a tripod mount regularly. The button layout is intuitive and easy to use in the dark. I found the lighting more than adequate, but also bought an external IR illuminator for distances that the built-in illuminator cannot provide. The built-in IR emitter worked flawlessly at distances of up to 200 meters. I am planning to buy another 110r as a birthday gift for dad. I was able to use the porthole for two hours on setting number 2 on a single AA enloop charge.
