Review on Thigh High Compression Stockings For Women And Men - Truform 30-40 MmHg, Beige, Dot-Top, Closed Toe, Size XL by Jessica Fields

Good if you have a medical need for a compression stocking

I don't think anyone loves their compression stockings, but these did the job effectively. They're not a good replacement for fashion stockings; you can see the waffle-like texture of the knit when you are close to them. However, they are fully opaque, so it's not too obvious from farther away. I was concerned that these stockings would fall down, but they actually had a nice tight fit and the silicone dots at the top held them up nicely. For how thick they are, I was surprised to find they are quite breathable! My only complaint is that they fit so tightly that I felt uncomfortable bending my leg. When I did, they would wrinkle at the back of my knee, and the wrinkles actually dug into my skin, which made them quite uncomfortable for sitting in. However, I imagine that this is true of any stocking with such a high level of compression. If you don't actually have a prescription, you may want to try a sock with less compression before resorting to these big guns.

Pros
  • Truform 8848; Medical support hose; Unisex style durable knit; 30-40 strength graduated compression
Cons
  • they still roll down.
