When my old peeler's cutting blade flew off the handle and mysteriously disappeared into my kitchen (I still can't find it), I was looking for a good one, inexpensive and spicy hacksaw for my kitchen. I've seen similar items like the 2-pack Palm Peeler, Hand Peeler, Finger Grips handy for peeling potatoes, carrots, and cucumbers at trendy kitchen supply stores and was very impressed when I tried them there, so I thought it would be a try value. So glad I did! They work just as well as those from that expensive store and do the peeling of potatoes and other veggies with ease. I've also used them to make carrot ribbons for garnishing and adding to salads and other "vegetarian fettuccine" dishes. Because it fits comfortably in your hand, you have complete control over the peeler and the results are great. I would recommend this product to everyone.
