Review on 🦗 Exo Terra Cricket Pen - Small Size: 18 cm x 14 cm x 11 cm (7 inches x 5.5 inches x 4.3 inches) by William Dean

I have several sizes of Lee's cricket pen and they don't even come close to the quality of this Exo Terra cricket pen. Both have the same removable vented lids, with one major exception. The Lee feed tubes fit into the UPPER sides of the lid, not the keeper/pen body like the Exo. A BIG minus in removing the entire top and machining 3 separate parts/parts. The Exo-Tubes stay in place inside, preventing hobo screams from escaping inside the tubes. Another HUGE difference between the two styles is the cricket dispensers themselves, Lees are round and Exos are square, making the EXO more stable all round and preventing pressure on the trays from shifting in their "bottoms". Here are the BIG differences, though: Lee has these "lame" round valves that (supposedly) shut the pipe off. opens when pulled, and almost all the time they (wings) fall! The Exo Terra Cricket Stable has an opening "flap door" built into the inside of the sides of the NOT-IN-COVER handle (like Lee's) that will never let you down. Simply pull the tube out of the Exo Terra Cricket Paddock and the hatch lowers very quickly and automatically to prevent escape and reopens easily when the tubes are reinserted. with tapered steps for even the smallest "pinchels" to scale, "Lee's" offers no gut loading bowls. The EXO kit also includes a black sponge to keep moisture in the water bowl. Each tray slides neatly over opposite ends of a handle held in place by (inserted) square tubes that prevent the trays from slipping. The trays are easy to remove for filling and cleaning. Very nice touch! At the time of this review both were prime qualified as the Exo was ONLY 22 CENTS MORE than the Lee, it's easily worth a few bucks more! In addition, the Exo has a nice glossy black top cover and is made of thicker, higher quality plastic than the Lee. Next time I will buy a large Exo Cricket Pen. PSI took the sponge out of the water bowl and filled it with Cricket Quencher Fluker
