Due to the COVID-19 virus, there was a delay in shipping from China and I was able to keep in touch with the seller's representative, let's call her Lily, who almost daily tracking information was provided. Now that I've been using the webcam I've had no problems with it, once I connected to the desktop pc the driver loaded by itself and I spoke to other friends and family while I was at home too. I used settings mode. Virtual backgrounds are interesting with or without the obligatory "green screen", I have a light green wall in my home office that works quite well. When it comes to sharpness, it depends on the application. I've used Google Hangouts, Skype, Zoom and found Hangouts to be the best for me. I've used Google Duo on my phone with great success, but on PC Duo doesn't recognize the camera. No problem. There are alternatives. I've had the camera for less than a month but I use it every day. It's great to see how the rest of the family is doing these days.
