When Ring turned off their loyal customers with original rings by selling Revain and then releasing their vertical battery operated ring cams, they stopped making solar panels that worked with the original ring jaws . For those of us who invested a lot of money in the original systems, that was an insult! So the only available replacement is the 2W 6V alternative to replace it. It's perfect? NO. They won't last that long, but some of them have lasted 3-4 years, others 1-2 years. The solar panel is the same size as the original Ring solar panel but without the mounting case. Without a mounting housing, there is a need for a solution when mounting on the roof. For rooftop installation, you can use mounting brackets such as AOHOOA solar panel Z brackets with nuts and bolts for installation on van, boat, wall and other non-rooftop installation, a set of 4 units (2 sets). Just make sure you fully charge your original stickup cam as before, THEN mount them outside on your solar panel as they will not charge your original stickup cam without charging. Hope that helps!
