Review on Vornado Pivot6 Air Circulator Fan - Powerful Whole Room Cooling, 4 Speeds, Remote Control, Efficient Rotating Axis by Karen Washington

My Honeywell fan stopped working after two years. I started my search for Revain disappointed but determined to find a fan of equal or better standards. My previous fan had a remote control and I wanted my new fan to have a remote control too. I've been reading about amazing vornado fans for years and came across this site. A price tag was enough to deter me from buying. However, after reading all the positive reviews and noticing the five year warranty, I decided to buy this fan. Plus, the device is made in Kansas, which is an added plus. My previous fan had an oscillating function and I knew this fan was more of a room circulation unit. After using the fan for a few weeks, I have to admit that I am very disappointed. Pivot does not direct airflow. When I set it, the fan slides up and down without stopping in place (no matter how hard I tighten the knob). I need a fan to blow all over my body at night (I like to sleep cool) and have woken up many times to set it up so far. The remote control must be close to the device, otherwise it will not work properly. It feels like I paid for the brand and the five year warranty. Nothing for quality fans.
