Vornado Pivot6 Air Circulator Fan - Powerful Whole Room Cooling, 4 Speeds, Remote Control, Efficient Rotating Axis Review

I love its ability to move air. Can have my AC on from 12pm to 2-2:30am. At night I use it to evacuate air at night (one bedroom window is wide open and the fan blows air to the window, and the other bedroom window is open to let air in). Two big issues - there's no handle to move or adjust, and a silicone slide. keep coming off the carpet.

Just received mine today and as soon as I turn it on I can say this fan is well made. No annoying clicks like my previous fan, this is not a Vornado product. Four power levels can meet everyone's needs. I can barely hear it on the lowest setting, but if you need that background noise, turn it up louder and you'll hear nice, clean blade action. I can't stop looking at this fan. I love this fan. This fan was for me.

Great product especially when you don't need a remote control. But I bought it primarily for the remote control function. As previously mentioned, the remote control must be aimed directly at the center of the fan within line of sight. This is often uncomfortable. In addition, the fan is very good. so far we are very happy with it. It's compact and funky. The remote is utterly useless to us, but the buttons on the top of the unit are an acceptable interface and they don't beep (hooray!). Unfortunately, the fan always starts at the maximum value when starting, not at the lowest, but that is not decisive for us. Quieter than my other Vornado (metal old school look). At the lowest level, it's a pleasantly soft tone that helps me fall asleep. The motor has a 'hum', I'm having a hard time getting used to this noise, I prefer to hear the blades/wind so I usually use it at higher settings. I use it in a small 10x10 room to improve airflow as the room has high ceilings.
