Great product especially when you don't need a remote control. But I bought it primarily for the remote control function. As previously mentioned, the remote control must be aimed directly at the center of the fan within line of sight. This is often uncomfortable. In addition, the fan is very good. I hope Vornado can upgrade their remote control technology to something similar to the more forgiving remotes that are widely available these days. Vornado also has good customer support (which is unusual these days) so I would give them a 5 star rating.
