I recently discovered Vornado and when I say I love their products because they actually meet and exceed what they say in the description (for the most part), it's true. I bought it because I tried one of their smaller models and was very impressed. Learning the difference between circulator and oscillator fans is definitely the rabbit hole I got lost in for about a day looking at this company. But after some research I decided to do it. Usually when you buy a Vornado fan you get… Quality ✅Quietness ✅Performance✅Great Warranties ✅Among others… Style and Size: I really like the modern design of this fan. Similar to their early history and a nod to aircraft turbines, you get a mix of what looks like a jet engine mixed with a sleek finish more akin to modern European-style furniture. Performance (airflow) When it comes to performance (airflow). Vornado is second to none. Because of the technology they have developed for so long. The rod works quietly. So quiet that at the bottom 2 settings of this 4-speed fan, you won't even notice the fan is running. And at any fan setting, you'll still feel good airflow through the room it's in. One of the things that makes this company great is that they found a way to do it with smaller fans. So when you get the rod it looks smaller, but when you turn it on it circulates air up to 70ft and up. Ideal for bedrooms, living areas, in some cases more efficient than ceiling fans. Other interesting things: I'm sure I'll get even more joy over time as I continue to experience Vornado's amazing features. Not to sound like a fan, and as someone who expresses general skepticism when a company says they can do something "revolutionary," I was pleasantly surprised. I was amazed by its quality, its finish and its ability to circulate air as efficiently and precisely as it does. I'm impressed that it comes with a remote control on top of that (which is definitely a bit flimsy, but that's for almost any fan). Vornado took the time to create something that looks high quality (like something you might add to a beautifully decorated living room or office) while still being lightweight. I liked this one so much that I immediately ordered a second one. In addition to cooling the room, it is also an energy-saving element. In fact, where I live in California it gets hot in the summer and a lot of the old houses near where I live don't have air conditioning, so fans are a must. Conclusion In short, I don't think you will regret your investment in this fan. In fact, most Vornado products (with the exception of a few fan bugs I've seen in reviews of other specific older models) are great. They do what they say on their website and in the descriptions. In my case even better than I expected. Ps other random stuff. I didn't mention how easy it is to clean because I haven't had it that long, but it should be an easy process. I haven't talked much about the remote control. I find the remote control to be of good quality, but as with other fans that use this small remote control, the sensor on the fan is not the best. That means I can't control it from across the room unless I have line of sight from the front. Although the remote control works better than most fans, you still need to have a good view directly in front of the fan. Side or back does not match. But the benefits of this fan style and makeup far outweigh my issue with remote use. Especially when I put the fan on my desk or bedside table, I can touch the small touch sensor on the top of the fan, which works great. I love this fan so much I'm buying a second one.
