Got a star because it came when I least expected it. I have my 10 year old Kenneth Cole -Got the watch and it works (it doesn't do anything other than rotate the 3 hands (seconds, minutes and hours) and change the date once every 31 days (nothing else) But the battery died after about 3-4 months. Kenneth Cole replacement will keep it going for about 2/3 years I have reached out to Renata's respected people (I read great reviews; it's better to pay $20 for a battery that lasts 3-5 years, than $4 for 10 which only last 4 months each) but they don't offer that.The watch's watertightness/resistance will certainly deteriorate with repeated openings I think.
