I disagree with another reviewer who said these sizes are too small and almost useless. Being single, I like having small ones around me so my food is spread evenly across the pan rather than having a thin layer of food in a large pot. The standard pan size is 13 x 9, and the largest in this set is 14.7 x 8.5, so it's not that far off. I would say it's good for a couple or a family of up to 8 depending on the type of food and how many people are eating. It was packaged well but I accidentally banged it pretty hard on my granite counter expecting it to chip off. But no chip! I've hand washed them several times and they still look brand new. I am happy with my purchase and would buy again if I needed another set.
