Subjects shake when zoomed in, but can take some decent photos from closer ranges. Attempting to photograph the moon was nearly impossible without a tripod. The falcon in the photos I uploaded was across the street in a very tall tree and was using an iPhone 7. I am very happy with my purchase. The quality of the monocular seems to be very good. I was able to adjust the phone mount to take landscape photos.
