Not happy with this product, bad in use.

To begin with, something happened to me that you wouldn’t even wish on your enemy because of this hard drive. It was in August 2022, when, after shooting two weddings (25 GB RAW) on my old Nikon D70, I copied everything to this hard drive and nowhere else, since I had very little space on all devices then and freed up time no, I had to leave and process these two weddings on my Acer Aspire 5930G laptop on the road, I didn’t have time to copy these weddings there, and I formatted everything for interesting frames and regretted it for a long time. And the thing is that at that time I strongly trusted these two WD inscriptions. In one hotel, I decided to start processing these RAWs and got this miracle, I just decided to import it into Lightroom, as I accidentally hit it - it fell off the table, but hung on the wire and was 40 cm above the floor. And at the same time was spinning, only I wanted to pick it up, as it was already falling, that there is no such person who could simply pick it up, it was a matter of a few milliseconds. This miracle fell off the table while working, I thought that it was in order - but when I connected it, I realized that it had failed. What should I do - I was paid a lot of money for the wedding and then I lost these photos ? I had to go to the workshop, where the swindlers said that everything would be restored only for 12,000.! What should I do? I had to fork out! 98% of the information was restored, but this hard drive robbed me of 15400, along with the cost of! Terrible thing!

Pros
  • 1) Good build quality 2) Compactness 3) Lightness 4) Relative speed
Cons
  • 1) The unreliability of the hard drive itself, which played a fatal role and threw me a lot of money. 2) Short cable included 3) Glossy finish
