This bandage is great for relieving wound pain!

I have been trying to cope with leg ulcers for 2 months. 1 ER visit, 4 doctor visits and $5,000 later. no doctor has suggested FOCUSING ALSO ON CURING THE DISEASE ITSELF! I was excreting maybe 2 cups or more of serum per day from my 3 ulcers (yellowish to clear liquid) covering a total of 20 square inches of all 3 ulcers. Walked around the house with a folded towel wrapped around a bare corner, changing it every few hours. Until now, I never realized how awful and painful leg ulcers can be. I have used Algicate+ gelling calcium alginate and silver calcium alginate dressings to switch directly with the ulcers. They developed a thick gel to seal, protect and heal by adding a thin layer of MediHoney to the dressing and then placing a 6x6 MedVance TM foam dressing over the healing wound. The combination completely stopped the bleeding from the bandages and after 3 days the outer gauze was still dry and white! WOW what a difference! This pad also adds extra fixation to wounds, and I eventually realized that most pain from these ulcers arises when the rough outer surface of the skin is irritated by something rough (even a smooth cotton gauze bandage is almost like sharp steel ). wire if it is touch). apply directly to an open wound on the body). It took me weeks to realize that removing bandages usually relieves pain within 15 minutes. HIGH absorbency and a large 6x6 pad right on top of ulcers or open wounds is why I really love these pads and now want to buy more for my medical inventory. You can cut this foam into smaller pieces; I put the white side on top of the other bandage and the yellow side on the outside as it looks like the yellow side is a sealant to keep moisture from seeping through. Great product that has helped a lot in relieving my pain and increasing comfort for heavily exuding wounds on my legs!

  • gauze and pads
Cons
