I had an odd application where I had to tie myself to raised shocks for my jeep cj 8 scrambler after doing a custom lift kit. This is raised about 3.5 inches and has some old EMU springs that flex very well. These shocks have a steel insert in the bottom bushing, you need to push it out and then use a drill to open the bushing to install the jeep shock mount. It's easy to do. All of the folded 13-inch shocks only had 6.5 to 7.5 inches of total travel and were able to hold the axle. They are about 16 inches long when folded, which is way too long unless you add 1-2 inches of extended rear bumper stops. They offer nearly 11 inches of travel! They are perfect for the front end with RRO+2" Jeep Extended Shocks! The valving is solid but nowhere near as stiff as some Rancho shocks or other gas shocks. They ride well! I plan to swap out the rear shocks after the bodylift +1.5-2" to lengthen. Then it gets really good! 4 stars because no size is given in the description. Automatic zone. Original application - Ford f250 mid to late 90's rear.
