Review on 🌟 Enhance Filtration Efficiency with API BIO-CHEM STARS Filtration Media 20-Count by Beth Olfactory

I bought Chem Stars API to use as an intermediate material for my ﹰFilstar ﹰL filter. I have a Yellowbellied Slider that can foul the tank fairly quickly and I've been told Bio-Chem Stars will help maintain the aquarium ecosystem. The 20 stars included in the package filled about 1/2-3/4 of my media basket. I'm sure another package will suffice. Due to the size of my turtle, only 20-25 stars are recommended. When cleaning the filter you have to be careful not to wash out the basket of chemical stars as they wash away all the good bacteria. I've had the stars for a little over a month and was expecting some growth on them, but they are as clean as the day I put them in my filter. Stars are good value for money and will last for many months. I would definitely recommend this product and will buy again if it needs replacing.
