When I opened the box. I noticed that the face screen shows the timer and temperature. The face came off and the wires were visible. It looked and felt very cheap and clearly wasn't glued together properly. You could actually see the dried glue. I was able to use it and so far it has stayed. The rest of the machine is pretty much assembled and I've used it a number of times. It got hot pretty quickly. Another thing I didn't really like was the clicks every 10 seconds. I believe that on a nearly $200 machine the clicks can be eliminated and there should be a better gauge screen.
