Batteries fit but I don't know if they are still charging properly

I bought it in September. I used it and was very happy with it as it charged all my rechargeable batteries not just AA and AAA. However, I've recently noticed that my batteries don't stay charged as long as they used to. and 3 days ago the display stopped working so I have nothing to say other than the panel on the side. I only spent about $15 on it so maybe this is a case of you get what you pay for but I am very disappointed in this product.
