Excellent accuracy, better with block

For drains, this ironing board cover is perfect for your sewing workshop if you have a very large ironing board. This sleeve will help you, for example, look at the item you want to sleeve and find out what size you need to cut the lining. Of course, it's best if you actually cut out the lining on the provided rug with a rotary cutter like a quilter does, but if you don't have them it serves a fantastic dual purpose. The ironing board cover is ideal for blocking out your work and ensuring work is proportionally square. If you're unfamiliar with blocking, you basically shape and pin your work, then spray or steam with water until damp and allow the work to dry overnight to allow it into its stretched/molded shape bring. For items that need to be crocheted/knitted separately and then joined, blocking will ensure your two halves are the same size and shape. Advantages: Precise closure for crochet/face; Precise guides for scissor cutting fabric (not rotary cutting of course). Cons: no lining included. Some people just bought about a foot of 60 inch felt and used it; I had another case that I just treated with this one. Hope this helps you decide!
