The cover is big enough to fit my ironing board snugly. The previous cover I used was a bit flimsy. This cover is well made and the mesh is very useful when wringing out pieces of fabric for clothes or quilts. I haven't tried washing. If I ever have to wash it I hope it doesn't shrink.

Don't expect a real ironing board cover. Mesh for quilting and sewing on an ironing board - suitable. Measurements are accurate on site. It has made my life so much easier when I'm pressing parts to size or when I need a perfectly straight line. I even use it as a small cutting board. I didn't like the sparse strings you just have to pull to tighten the lid on the ironing board. I put it on the lid of my ironing board so I still have the padding underneath.
